Assam Public Service Commission (APSC) has officially released the notification for the Combined Competitive Examination (CCE) 2025. This recruitment drive aims to fill 78 vacancies in various prestigious state services including Assam Civil Service (ACS), Assam Police Service (APS), District Transport Officer, and others. Candidates with a Graduate degree in any stream are eligible to apply. The selection process involves a Preliminary Exam, Main Exam, and a Personality Test. Online applications are accepted from 13th April 2026 to 3rd May 2026.

📝 Selection Process & Exam Pattern

1. Preliminary Exam (Objective): Two papers of 200 marks each. GS-II is qualifying (33%). Negative marking 0.25 apply.
2. Main Exam (Written): 6 Papers (Essay + 5 GS papers) for a total of 1500 marks.
3. Interview: Personality test of 180 marks.
• Final Merit: Based on Main Written + Interview (Total 1680 Marks).
