Short Information: NHPC Limited, a prestigious Navratna Enterprise under the Ministry of Power, has announced the NHPC Apprentice Recruitment 2026. This recruitment drive aims to engage 182 candidates for 1-year Apprenticeship Training in various Graduate, Diploma, and ITI trades across its power stations in Uttarakhand, Sikkim, J&K, HP, and Arunachal Pradesh. Candidates with ITI, Diploma, or Engineering Degrees in relevant disciplines can apply online from 15th April 2026 to 6th May 2026. The selection will be purely based on merit (academic marks) with no exam or interview. Selected candidates will receive a monthly stipend up to ₹15,000/- along with DBT support. 🎓 Eligibility & Age Limit (as on 06/05/2026)

Age: 18 to 30 Years (Age relaxation as per Govt. rules).
Education: 10th + ITI / Diploma / Graduation / PG in relevant trade/subject from recognized board/university. Candidates appearing in final results are not eligible.

📊 Selection Process (Merit Based)

No Exam / No Interview. Selection will be based on academic weightage:
• Graduate: 10th (20%) + 12th/Dip (20%) + Graduation (60%).
• Diploma/ITI: 10th (30%) + Diploma/ITI (70%).
Preference: Project Affected Families > Local District > Local State > Others.

It is mandatory to register on NATS (for Graduate/Diploma) or NAPS (for ITI) portal before applying on NHPC website. Incomplete profiles or missing enrollment numbers will lead to rejection. Candidates must have a DBT-enabled bank account for stipend.
