National Testing Agency (NTA) has released the notification for UGC National Eligibility Test (NET) June 2026. This exam determines the eligibility for 'Assistant Professor' and 'Junior Research Fellowship (JRF)'. Candidates with a Master's degree or in the final year can apply online from 29 April 2026.

Eligibility & Age Limit
- JRF Age Limit: Maximum 31 Years (Age relaxation as per rules).
- Assistant Professor: No Upper Age Limit.
- Educational Qualification: Passed or Appearing Master's Degree in concerned subject with minimum 55% marks (50% for reserved categories). 4-Year Bachelor degree holders are also eligible.
