Selection Process Steps:
- Phase-I: Preliminary Examination (Online Objective Test) - Qualifying in nature.
- Phase-II: Main Examination (Objective + Descriptive Test) - Marks counted for final merit.
- Phase-III: Common Interview - Conducted by Participating Organizations and coordinated by IBPS.
- Final Merit & Allotment: Based on Combined Marks of Mains Exam and Interview.
IBPS PO Mains Exam Structure:
- Reasoning & Computer Aptitude (45 Qs | 60 Marks | 60 Mins)
- General/ Economy/ Banking Awareness (40 Qs | 40 Marks | 35 Mins)
- English Language (35 Qs | 40 Marks | 40 Mins)
- Data Analysis & Interpretation (35 Qs | 60 Marks | 45 Mins)
- English Descriptive Paper - Essay & Letter Writing (2 Qs | 25 Marks | 30 Mins)
- Negative Marking: 0.25 marks penalty for each wrong answer in Objective tests.
