Comprehensive Eligibility Criteria:
  • Work Experience: Candidates must have at least 5 years of continuous service in the MP Revenue Department as a Clerical Cadre employee, Patwari, or Revenue Inspector (RI) in a regular or officiating capacity.
  • Educational Qualification: Bachelor's Degree (Graduate) in Arts, Science (including Engineering/Technical), Commerce, or Agriculture from a recognized University.
  • Max Attempts: Eligible employees can appear in this departmental exam for a maximum of 3 times.
  • Domicile Rule: Being an internal departmental exam, a domicile certificate is not separately requested.
  • Pay Scale: Level-9 (₹ 36,200 - ₹ 1,14,800/-) plus applicable government allowances.

⚙️ Exam Pattern & Marking Scheme

  • Mode of Exam: Online Computer Based Test (CBT) with objective-type multiple-choice questions (MCQs).
  • Total Papers: Written exam will consist of 2 separate papers (Paper I & Paper II).
  • Marks & Duration: Each paper carries 100 marks with a duration of 2 hours per paper.
  • Negative Marking: Each correct answer awards 1 mark. A penalty of 0.25 marks will be deducted for every incorrect response.
  • Qualifying Cut-off: Unreserved / OBC / EWS candidates must score at least 55% marks, while SC / ST candidates require a minimum of 40% marks to qualify.

📍 Exam Cities & Essential Guidelines

Examination Cities: The examination will be conducted in 4 major cities across Madhya Pradesh: Bhopal, Indore, Jabalpur, and Ujjain.

  1. Candidates must enter their official Employee Code while filling out the online registration form.
  2. Aadhaar Registration: Aadhaar registration is mandatory. Aadhaar-based biometric verification will be done at the examination center.
