⚙️ Selection Procedure, Training & Stipend Breakdown
Selection Methodology (No Written Exam):
  • Merit List Generation: Selection will be based strictly on a average percentage score derived from Class 10th Marks (50% weightage) + ITI Marks (50% weightage).
  • Tie-Breaking Rules: In case of equal marks, the older candidate will be placed higher in merit. If age is also identical, the candidate who passed the Class 10th exam earlier will be preferred.
  • Document Verification (DV): Shortlisted merit candidates will be called for document verification along with original certificates and medical fitness certificates.
  • Medical Examination: Selected candidates must produce a Medical Fitness Certificate issued by an authorized Railway/Government Doctor as per prescribed Railway standards.
Training Period & Monthly Stipend:
  • Training Duration: 01 Year as per the Apprentices Act, 1961.
  • Monthly Stipend: Apprentices will receive a monthly stipend as per prescribed NWR State Railway rules during the training period (approx ₹7,000 to ₹8,050/month based on trade).
