Union Public Service Commission (UPSC) has officially announced the written examination result for the National Defence Academy & Naval Academy Examination (II) 2026. Candidates who appeared in the national-level competitive exam held on 13/09/2026 across various centers in India can now download the qualification result PDF.
A total of 394 posts will be filled in Army, Navy, and Air Force wings of NDA along with 10+2 Cadet Entry Scheme of Indian Naval Academy. All candidates qualifying the written exam will be called for SSB Interview by the Services Selection Board of Ministry of Defence. - Army Wing: Passed or appearing 10+2 (Intermediate) examination in any stream from a recognized board in India.
- Air Force & Naval Wing: Passed or appearing 10+2 Intermediate with Physics and Mathematics as compulsory subjects.
- 10+2 Cadet Entry Scheme (Naval Academy): Passed or appearing 10+2 with Physics and Mathematics.

- Minimum Date of Birth: Candidate must not be born before 01/01/2008.
- Maximum Date of Birth: Candidate must not be born after 01/01/2011.
- Marital Status: Only Unmarried male and female candidates are eligible for admission.

⚙️ Exam Pattern & Selection Procedure
- Stage 1 - Written Examination: Mathematics (300 Marks) + General Ability Test - GAT (600 Marks). Total: 900 Marks.
- Stage 2 - SSB Interview: Intelligence and Personality Test conducted by Services Selection Board (900 Marks).
- Stage 3 - Medical Examination: Comprehensive medical fitness test for defense entry standards.
- Final Selection: Merit list prepared based on total marks obtained in Written Exam and SSB Interview combined.
⚠️ Mandatory Instructions for Written Qualified Candidates
All candidates whose roll numbers appear in the written result list must register themselves online on the Indian Army Recruiting website (joinindianarmy.nic.in) within two weeks of result declaration. Registered candidates will then be allotted SSB center, shift, and interview dates.
